Synthetic monitoring is affected during Authentication API Database maintenance on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 10:00 UTC to 11:00 UTC ( https://status.grafana.com/incidents/195129jkfmpp ). Synthetic monitoring uses the Auth API for tokens related to secrets management, logs publishing, and metrics publishing.
Synthetic monitoring token information is cached for up to 40 minutes to mitigate impact during maintenance. However we anticipate some checks in the prod-us-central-0 region could be impacted during this window in the form of:
- Delayed check execution which will appear as gaps in metrics and logs publishing - Failures to decrypt secrets in scripted and browser checks, which will appear as checks execution failures
