Different services may be affected at different times, and interruptions may overlap. Reading or using a secret that is already stored is not interrupted.
Grafana Secrets Manager:
- Creating, updating, or deleting a secret may fail for a few minutes during the window. A retry a few minutes later succeeds normally.
- Reading and decrypting an existing secret is not affected. Synthetic Monitoring checks, k6, data sources, and alert notifications (and any other service using Grafana Secrets Manager) that already use a stored secret keep working throughout the window.
